How We Fix Hemorrhoids

A precise definition of hemorrhoids does not exist, but they can be described as “cushions” of tissue within the anal canal that contain blood vessels and their surrounding, supporting tissue is made up of muscle and elastic fibers. The anal canal is the last four centimeters through which stool passes as it exits the body. Although most people think hemorrhoids are abnormal, they are present in everyone. It is only when the hemorrhoidal cushions enlarge that hemorrhoids can cause problems and be considered abnormal or a disease.  Learn More about Hemorrhoids Treatment >

What is a Colonoscopy?

A Colonoscopy is a common medical test given to look for early signs of cancer of the colon and rectum or to help diagnose certain medical conditions.

We do this procedure at our facility under twilight sleep.  During the test, the doctor will put a thin, flexible, lighted tube, called a colonoscope, into your rectum and colon. The colonoscope lets your doctor take pictures and look at the lining of your colon.  Learn More about Colonoscopy >
